Fran Einterz, Vice Chair

A full-time farmer since retiring in 1999, Fran Einterz raises cattle on pasture and grows hay at the Jenne Farm on Ebey's Prarie. As a Board member of both the WICD and Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, Fran spends most days appreciating and protecting the rural character of Whidbey Island.

 

 

Duke LeBaron, Treasurer

Duke and his wife Kate live on a mini-farm (5 acres) with poultry, sheep and a miniature donkey.  They have been members of the American Livestock Breed Conservatory and the Navajo-Churro Sheep Association for many years.  “I am very interested in local agricultural growing food for local folks.”
