Coastal Strawberry (fragaria chiloensis) is a hardy groundcover that spreads vigorously by stolons and is common along coasts and bluffs. It has shiny, dark green leaves, white flowers, and edible strawberries in summer.

This groundcover grows great across woody mulches and will cover bare ground to prevent erosion. It is deer-resistant and very attractive to birds and pollinators.
