Red Huckleberry is a versatile native shrub that up to 10' tall under optimal conditions. It flowers in spring and has red, edible berries that attract birds.

Red Huckleberry prefers acidic soils and woody areas with partial shade. It is often seen growing out of old tree stumps, and pairs well with salal in hedges and forest edges.
