Self-heal is a native perennial herb that spreads by rhizomes and seeds.  Flowers are purple and very attractive to bumblebees. Self-heal is in the mint family and can be used to make teas.

These beauties come from the native prairie at the Pacific Rim Institute and are highly adapted to our local environment.  Water if needed in their first summer after which they are low maintenance.
